Laura Alonso Ballet Company

Le Corsaire tells the story of a shipwreck suffered by Conrad and his tripulation in a storm that leeds them to the costs of the Ionic Sea. Medora, Gulnara and other women find the rests of the shipwreck and Conrad fall in love at first sight with Medora. But a seller of slaves, Lankedem, will appear and he pretends to put in jail all those women and the corsaire promise to evoide that this happen. 

The company was founded by Laura Alonso, Alicia Alonso's daugther, mythical classical dance figure

Laura Alonso drinks of the big tradition of Cuba's Ballet, and in the repertoire of her company there are presents the big choreographies of the classical ballet.
