Start of the Year 2026
This week, classes have resumed at PAR en Dansa at the Factoria Cultural de Terrassa after the Christmas holiday break. Students return with renewed energy to prepare for this new dance season, featuring a varied and highly exclusive programme.
This February, Enric Gasa Valga presents Carmen, with the special participation of two PAR students, selected by the choreographer himself after a workshop with the dancers of the programme. Also this month, our students will take part in the 2026 Choreographic Workshops Gala, a highly enriching event in which dancers present a choreography entirely created by themselves, in every aspect. We will also welcome a special guest: Rafaelle Irace, who will award two scholarships to the two best solos to attend SOLOCOREOGRAFICO Youth.
In March, Alice, and the Dance of a Thousand Wonders premieres, a new production that reimagines Lewis Carroll’s classic like never before.
Continuing with this spring’s programme, in early May and under the guidance of renowned choreographer Williams Castro, PAR en Dansa students present Mozart Emotions, a choreographic proposal inspired by fragments of iconic works by W. A. Mozart.
To mark the beginning of summer and our city’s main festival, this July the dancers will showcase the results of their work with the Romeo and Juliet Suite.
Furthermore, the effort of the entire year will be rewarded in October with the participation of two PAR en Dansa students in Dancing Beethoven, a professional production that adapts Beethoven’s Fifth and Seventh Symphonies, created by guest choreographers Kevin O’Day and Jamal Callender.
The year will conclude with the Christmas classic The Nutcracker, a ballet choreographed by Rodolfo Castellanos based on the classical work of Petipa.
It will be a year full of productions to enjoy and to share moments rich in dance and music, thanks to the talent and dedication of the dancers of PAR en Dansa and the entire team that makes it possible year after year.
