Two PAR en Dansa students selected to dance with Limonada Company in Innsbruck
Students Laia Solís and Julia Navarro have been selected by choreographer Enric Gasa to take part in the rehearsals of the production Carmen together with the dance company Limonada, in the city of Innsbruck. This opportunity arose following the masterclass that Enric Gasa and Lara Brandi recently gave to the students of PAR en Dansa.
Enric Gasa is originally from Barcelona and attended the ballet school in Zaragoza for five years. He later obtained a highly coveted scholarship to the National Ballet School of Cuba, where he graduated with honors and began a successful international career. In the 2003/04 season, he moved to Innsbruck and became a member of the dance ensemble of the Tiroler Landestheater.
Meanwhile, Lara Brandi, originally from Florence, completed her professional dance training at the Hamlyn Dance School in her hometown. She also spent two years at the renowned École-Atelier Rudra Béjart, where she had the opportunity to perform with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. After a period with Maggio Danza di Firenze, she arrived in Innsbruck in the 2013/14 season and was a member of the TanzCompany of the Tiroler Landestheater until the 2022/23 season.
Taking advantage of their visit, the Barcelona-based choreographer also held an audition, offering two students the chance to be part of this professional project. After the selection process, Laia and Julia were chosen.

During their stay in Innsbruck, they will take part in the rehearsals of Carmen, a work that will premiere soon at LaFACT and will also include five additional performances, where they can be seen on stage.
