On February 11th we celebrate the Choreographic Workshops

On February 11 at 6:00 PM, the Talleres Coreográficos will take place at laFACT, a day dedicated to creativity and artistic expression in which PAR en Dansa students will present the choreographies they have been creating from scratch over the past weeks, working both on movement and staging. The final result will be presented in the auditorium of the Factoria Cultural de Terrassa in the format of a performance open to the public.

During the event, a competition will be held among the participants, featuring two main awards. The Audience Award will consist of a €100 voucher for students to spend in a specialized ballet store. The On-site Jury Award will grant participation in the Festa Major Dance Gala with their choreography, and the Online Jury will grant up to three scholarships to the best solo choreographies, which will have the opportunity to be presented at the Solo Coreográfico Youth Festival.

Among the members of the on-site jury — Alba Nadal, Vincent Gros, Kevin O’Day and Williams Castro — there will also be the evaluation of the online jury member Raffaele Irace, dancer, choreographer, ballet master and current director of the Dance Program at the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt, Germany. After his training at the Teatro Nuovo di Torino Dance Academy, he specialized at the École-Atelier Rudra of Maurice Béjart in Lausanne, Switzerland. He later completed his education with a degree in Theatre History at the University of Turin, Italy. In addition to his choreographic work, Irace is also founder and artistic director of dance festivals and formats such as SOLOCOREOGRAFICO Solo Dance Festival, LUCKY TRIMMER Dance Festival, IMPRO_RING – dance and proxemics, and 24 Hours X 24 Minutes – creative dance challenge.

Admission to the performance will be completely free for the public, offering an ideal opportunity to enjoy emerging talent and support young choreographic creation.
