LaMov
Don Juan
The renowned dancer and choreographer Víctor Jiménez reinvents Zorrilla's classic.
The company from Zaragoza revisits and reinvents the classic of Spanish literature 'Don Juan Tenorio', by José Zorrilla and turns it into a neoclassical dance piece.
What Don Juan are we talking about when LaMov tells the story of Don Juan? Are we talking about exacerbated love? eternal love? romantic love? eroticism? are we talking about Don Juan... or Doña Inés?
LaMov, through the choreography of Víctor Jiménez, makes a personal revision of the characters and the story. Thus, this Don Juan speaks of his love for Doña Inés. This Doña Inés speaks of her love for Don Juan. A show in which the mysterious and the magical are mixed in the course of day and night.
