Great Success of the PAR en Dansa Choreographic Workshops at the FACT
On February 11, the Choreographic Workshops took place at the FACT and were a great success in terms of both participation and attendance, consolidating themselves as a key event in the artistic calendar of PAR en Dansa. The auditorium of Factoria Cultural de Terrassa was filled to enjoy an evening led by the program’s students, marked by their creativity, commitment, and the high stage quality of choreographies entirely created by them over the past weeks.

The audience responded enthusiastically and awarded the Audience Prize to the piece that connected most strongly with the public: “Mímesis,” performed by Beatriz Robles, Maria del Mar Espinosa, Francesc Saura, and Amparo Ochoa, recognizing both the artistic proposal and the performance. These students have won a €100 voucher at the Sansha store.

Meanwhile, the in-person professional jury, composed of Alba Nadal, Kevin O’Day, Williams Castro, and Vincent Gros, highlighted the high level of the works presented and granted Minerva Barca and Louna Yvonneau the opportunity to present their choreography at the Gala Dansa de Festa Major.

The online professional jury prize, awarded by Rafaelle Irace and including up to three scholarships to participate in the Solo Coreografico Youth Festival in Frankfurt and Lyon, was granted to the solo choreographies that demonstrated the greatest compositional maturity, originality, and stage coherence: Noah Marín, Carolina Rehues, and Helena Miralles.

The event not only showcased the emerging talent of these young creators but also emphasized the importance of providing real platforms for performance and artistic growth, reaffirming PAR en Dansa’s commitment to the comprehensive training of its students. PAR en Dansa sincerely congratulates all the students for their effort, passion, and dedication to dance, which they conveyed so powerfully on stage.
