Williams Castro

Dancer, teacher and choreographer, specialist in classical and contemporary dance, trained at the Cuban School of Ballet and with extensive professional experience in major dance companies such as the National Ballet of Cuba, Victor Ullate Ballet and the National Ballet of Uruguay (SODRE), among others.

He is promoted to the category of first soloist and also performs as a repetiteur and ballet master. During his professional career, he shares the stage with great dance stars such as the first absolut dancer Alicia Alonso and participates in the most prestigious dance festivals in the world, working with choreographers such as William Forsythe, Hans Van Manen, Maurice Béjar….

He is currently on the jury of several national and international dance competitions and is a guest teacher at professional conservatories such as Ana Laguna in Burgos, the Akkademien Ballet in Stockholm and the conservatory of dance María de Ávila, where he has been a specialist teacher in classical dance and choreographer for the last 5 years.
