Dmitri Rudachenko

Artistic Director of the company St. Petersburg Festival Ballet since 2011. She initially studied at the ballet school in Alma-Ata. Between 1992 and 1998 he studied at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, with teacher K. V. Shatilova. After graduation, he was accepted into the ballet company of the Mussorgsky Theater in St. Petersburg (now the Mikhailovsky Opera and Ballet Theater), where he performed the leading roles in La Bayadera, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Corsair, Giselle, Chipiniana, Paquita, Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker. He participated and won the international competitions in Luxembourg (1999), Budapest, Hungary (2000) and Rieti, Italy (2003).
