Alexandra Basmagy leads a ballet masterclass at PAR en dansa
On Sunday, April 26th, PAR en dansa had the honor of welcoming Alexandra Basmagy for an exclusive masterclass for our students. A highly enriching experience that allowed our dancers to work closely with an artist with an international career linked to one of the most prestigious companies in the world: the American Ballet Theatre (ABT).

Born in New Jersey, Alexandra Basmagy began her training at The Academy of Dance Arts, where she received distinctions from the Royal Academy of Dance. She later continued her studies in New York before entering the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at the American Ballet Theatre.
In 2008 she became a founding member of Corella Ballet Castilla y León under the direction of Ángel Corella, and in 2011 she joined the American Ballet Theatre, where she developed a remarkable career performing leading roles in the classical and neoclassical repertoire.
Throughout her artistic career she performed in renowned productions such as Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet and The Sleeping Beauty, building a career defined by technical excellence and artistic sensitivity.
In addition to her experience as a performer, Alexandra Basmagy is certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum and has worked as a choreography assistant at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. She is currently part of the teaching staff at Escola de Dansa Marisa Yudes and develops international projects as an artistic director and producer, including the American Ballet Stars Galas.
For PAR en dansa, offering this type of educational experience represents a great opportunity for our students. The masterclass allowed them to work on technique, musicality, interpretation and movement quality with a professional who brings an international vision of dance.
We continue to bring our students closer to leading figures in ballet and professional dance, creating learning spaces that inspire, motivate and enrich their artistic training.
