The Nutcracker is back! – Let’s dance with the stars of the Paris Opera

PAR dancers rehearse the Nutcracker that will be performed this December at the Factoria Cultural of Terrassa

On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December the magic of Christmas returns to the Factoria Cultural of Terrassa. Directed by Rodolfo Castellanos, this will be the fifth year that PAR in Dance produces the Nutcracker, a show that features all the dancers of the formation. Our goal is to make the audience enjoy the fascinating story of the Nutcracker, while giving opportunities and experience to all the dancers to grow professionally.

During the weeks of rehearsal we have had great teachers who have helped to perfect the technique and the movements of the dancers: Rodolfo Castellanos, Williams Castro and Ilya Jivoy.

PAR dancers meet the stars and soloists of the Paris Opera!

Last Sunday they did a masterclass with the ballet master Francesco Vantaggio, currently master at the Rome Opera and dancer at the Paris Opera. Subsequently, he was in charge of leading the class for all the dancers of the Gala of Stars and Soloists of the Paris Opera of Factoria Cultural of Terrassa.

The dancers were then invited to the grand gala and saw stars such as Sae Eun Park and soloists such as Shale Wagman.

The objective of the masterclasses and meetings with great dancers and teachers is to exchange contacts, experience new ways of working and try new styles in order to grow professionally.
